Conexión Rock Radio en su serie de Entrevistas Internacionales hizo parada en Suecia, lugar de procedencia de una interesante banda que tendrá en este programa la atención de sus seguidores de toda una vida y de los nuevos que se incorporaran en el camino en esta aventura musical que es la banda sonora perfecta ya sea de una obra de teatro o inclusive de una película.
Johonny González converso con el vocalista de Avatar Johannes Eckerström para hablar del momento en que vive la banda con su nuevo álbum (el número 6 en su carrera) Feathers & Flesh (via EOne Music) y que a criterio de nuestro entrevistado este es el mejor álbum de la banda hasta la fecha.
Provenientes de Gotemburgo, Suecia crecen en el ojo de una tormenta rodeado de músicos talentosos y que están decididos a conquistar el mundo, y que están figurando en el mapa sónico a nivel mundial con este nuevo trabajo y que será un antes y un después en la vida de Avatar, y que después de este álbum no será lo mismo, nunca más!
Según nuestro invitado este es un disco conceptual. Es una fábula acerca de un búho que va a la guerra para evitar que el sol salga al amanecer. Es una historia trágica de una persona el destino busco para fallar en esta vida y luchar para que esos errores no se repitan de nuevo. Ella aprenderá muchas lecciones y encontrar muchas otras criaturas con sus propias ideas. Al final, sin embargo, hay que preguntarse si algo se supo en absoluto.
El disco fue grabado en Alemania, Finlandia y Suecia en diciembre de 2015, con la extraordinaria productora Sylvia Massy (System of a Down, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers entre otros artistas famosos) en la consola de grabación.
El resultado final es un álbum de metal moderno que muestra por un lado la crueldad y por el otro el poder que uno puede pedir en un viaje sónico que hará de este álbum su favorito en sus colecciones personales.

Hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden they grow in the eye of a storm surrounded by talented musicians and who are determined to conquer the world, and are appearing on the sonic map worldwide with this new work and will be a before and after in the Avatar´s life, and that after this album will not be the same, ever again!
According to our guest this is a concept album. It is a fable about an owl go to war to prevent rising sun. It is a tragic story of a person being finally set to fail. She will learn many lessons and find many other creatures with their own ideas. In the end, however, you have to wonder if something was learned at all.
The album was recorded in Germany, Finland and Sweden in December 2015 with producer Sylvia Massy extraordinary (System of a Down, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers among other famous artists) in the recording console.
The end result is an album of modern metal showing on one hand the cruelty and other the power one could ask for in a sonic journey that will make this your favorite album in their personal collections.
