Hablar de bandas que mantienen vigente la escena del Punk y Hardcore Melódico en estos tiempos no es común... y todo indica que este género se refresca con ideas nuevas que para algunos miraran con indiferencia, otros tendrán el mayor interés posible en su música, generando asi nuevas bases de fans en varios continentes alrededor del mundo, y que Conexión Rock Radio en sus Entrevistas Internacionales ha podido conocer de su historia y discografía.
Johonny González conversa hasta Winnipeg, Canadá, lugar de procedencia de la banda invitada en este programa: Comeback Kid, y que por medio de su vocalista Andrew Neufeld nos brinda detalles importantes de su nuevo trabajo discográfico llamado Outsider, y que saldrá a la venta a via New Damage para Canadá, y que hace su debut a nivel mundial con Nuclear Blast Records.
Andrew nos comenta que este álbum viene con muchas expectativas que en sus anteriores entregas, además de que aparecen invitados especiales que harán que este trabajo sea muy interesante, y que tras la salida a nivel internacional de Die Knowing, la banda ha logrado una mayor atención en el mapa sónico mundial.
Comeback Kid además de Neufeld a la guitarra y voz se complementan con Jeremy Hiebert en las guitarras y coros, Stu Ross en guitarra y coros, Ron Friesen en el bajo, y la reciente incorporación de Loren Legare en la batería.
La banda tiene preparada una extensa gira en Canadá y en otros países a nivel mundial, y sus integrantes además de llevar la música lo más lejos posible, y desean mantener por lo alto la bandera del Punk y Hardcore Melódico a una nueva generación de jóvenes que buscan en la música una bocanada de aire fresco.
