Conexión Rock Radio en sus Entrevistas Internacionales ha tenido el honor de traer a sus fans en todo el mundo a una banda muy querida, y en especial por su trayectoria que ha cosechado grandes éxitos a través de los años, y que en este 2017 celebran su 25 aniversario en la escena mundial del metal.
Johonny González conversa con el Guitarrista y Co Fundador de Edguy, Jens Ludwig para compartir las novedades relacionadas con el lanzamiento de su boxset llamado Monuments, y que marca el inicio de una nueva página en la historia de la banda en un recorrido plasmado en 2 CDs y un DVD que a criterio de nuestro invitado es un documento inédito en una gira realizada en Brasil años atrás.
La banda actualmente además de Ludwing a las guitarras se complementan con su compañero a las seis cuerdas como lo es Dirk Sauer, Tobias Sammet a la voz, Tobias Exxel en el bajo y Felix Bohnke en la batería.
En Monuments para esta ocasión especial la banda nos presenta 5 nuevas canciones, siendo Revenblack su primer single, y a la vez un adelanto de lo que se viene para el nuevo trabajo de Edguy que saldría a la luz en algún momento de 2018.
También nos comparte del gran momento que se ha vivido con su más reciente álbum en estudio Space Police - Defenders of the Crown, y que a criterio de Jens este trabajo les ha abierto las puertas a varios festivales alrededor del mundo provocando la ovación por parte de sus fans.

Johonny González talks to the guitarist and co-founder of Edguy, Jens Ludwig to share the news related from the release of his boxset called Monuments, and marks the beginning of a new page in the history of the band in a journey embodied in 2 CDs and a Live DVD that at the discretion of our guest is an unpublished document in a tour made in Brazil years ago.
The band currently with Ludwing to the guitars are complemented with their bandmates: to the six strings Dirk Sauer, Tobias Sammet to the voice, Tobias Exxel in the bass and Felix Bohnke on the drums.
In Monuments for this special occasion the band presents 5 new songs, being Revenblack the first single, and at the same time an advance of what is coming for the new work of Edguy that would come to the light sometime of 2018.
