Johonny González conversa con la voz y fundador de Ex Deo: Maurizio Iacono para compartir los detalles relacionados al nuevo trabajo de la banda que lleva por nombre The Immortal Wars, editado bajo el sello Napalm Records, y marca el retorno tras 5 años de ausencia tras de su antecesor Caligvla, y que desde ahora apuestan que este trabajo es el mejor de su carrera.
Maurizio comenta que este nuevo álbum está ambientado en un momento muy violento en la historia de Roma como lo fueron las Guerras Púnicas, en este caso la Segunda, donde Aníbal se revela contra el imperio en una cruzada Partiendo desde la actual Cartagena, en el sur de Hispania, condujo a su ejército hacia el norte, cruzó los Alpes e invadió la península itálica desde el norte, dando como resultado de las batallas posteriores la pérdida de gran parte de sus soldados y elefantes de guerra.
En ese escenario Ex Deo desarrolla este disco que es digno para la banda sonora de una película épica, y que no dudamos que sus seguidores den la ovación de pie ante el mejor trabajo de su historia.
En este Immortal Wars aparece como invitado especial Clemens Wijers mejor conocido como Ardek y que es muy conocido en su trabajo con Carach Angren, y en esta oportunidad aparece contribuyendo con las partes orquestales del álbum, dándole a este una atmosfera especial que dé inicio a fin es la protagonista de esta aventura.
Además habla sobre la reacción que ha tenido el lanzamiento del primer single del álbum: The Roman, concluye que es necesario ver el lado sangriento y crudo del momento que se vivía en la época, (en el video aparecen soldados y mujeres teniendo sexo) es comprensible que se pueda llamar a la censura pero están orgullosos de mostrar una parte de la historia que seguirán escribiendo para los próximos años.
También nos detalla la situación actual de Kataklysm, banda que es el vocalista y fundador, nos detalla que se preparan para una gira para Abril en algunos países de Latinoamérica, y que en algún momento de 2017 preparen ideas para el sucesor de Of Ghost And Gods, y que por ahora buscan preparar giras en especial para Ex Deo, ya que existen muchos fans que desean verlos en vivo. Johonny Gonzalez talks with the voice and founder of Ex Deo: Maurizio Iacono to share the details related to the new work of the band that takes by name The Immortal Wars, published via their Label Napalm Records, and marks the return after 5 years of absence after of his predecessor Caligvla, and who now bet that this work is the best of his career.
Maurizio comments that this new album is set in a very violent moment in the history of Rome as were the Punic Wars, in this case the Second, where Hannibal is revealed against the empire in a crusade Starting from the present Cartagena in the south Of Hispania, led his army north, crossed the Alps and invaded the Italian peninsula from the north, resulting in the subsequent battles the loss of much of its soldiers and war elephants.
In that scenario Ex Deo develops this album that is worthy for the soundtrack of an epic film, and that we do not doubt that his followers give the ovation standing before the best work of its history.
In this Immortal Wars appears as special guest Clemens Wijers better known as Ardek and is well known in his work with Carren Angren, and this time appears contributing to the orchestral parts of the album, giving this a special atmosphere to start Is the protagonist of this adventure.
