Tim “Ripper” Owens: Mi Etapa en Judas Priest Definió Mi Carrera Musical y Estoy Agradecido Con Ello Exclusiva para Latinoamérica
Interesante programa el que Conexión Rock Radio realizo en su serie de Entrevistas Internacionales. En esta oportunidad nuestro invitado especial no necesita presentación, para mencionar algunos puntos de su carrera como cantante, y en la cual ha participado en bandas muy importantes en la escena del metal a nivel mundial.
Johonny Gonzalez conversa con Tim “Ripper” Owens, muy recordado en llenar el espacio dejado de Rob Halford en Judas Priest, Matt Barlow en Iced Earth, o ser la voz para Yngwie Malmsteen, tras hacer experiencia desde sus inicios con bandas como Brainicide y Winters Bane, actualmente es vocalista de sus propios proyectos como Beyond Fear, Project Rock, Dio Disciples, su proyecto personal y de Charred Walls of the Damned, sin dejar por fuera la gran cantidad de participaciones con varias bandas a nivel mundial.
En nuestra entrevista con Ripper, quien se encuentra de gira por varios países de Latinoamérica, nos comenta que se está presentando con un repertorio muy variado, tanto en eléctrico como en acústico, celebrando el legado en las bandas donde ha participado y disfrutando con los fans de la presencia de una de las voces más sobresalientes del metal en los últimos años, y concluye que gracias a su estancia en Judas Priest le sirvió de aprendizaje para ocupar muy merecido en base a mucho trabajo, disciplina y dedicación.
Además de sus presentaciones nos comparte de la muy buena recepción que ha tenido el nuevo álbum de Charred Walls of the Damned y que lleva por nombre Creatures Watching over the Dead via Metal Blade Records, y puntualiza que se siente orgulloso del resultado final del tercer trabajo con Charred.
Una vez finalizados los compromisos en la presente gira se preparara a tiempo completo con su banda para retomar sus presentaciones como solista, y también de la participación que tiene en el proyecto llamado The Trilogy quien además de Owens como vocalista participan Blaze Bayley (ex Iron Maiden) y de la mente maestra de Queensryche- Geoff Tate donde interpretaran varios clásicos de la banda, en especial del célebre Operation Mindcrime en varias presentaciones alrededor del mundo, y donde en algún momento de 2017 saldra a la luz un CD y DVD, y que a criterio de Owens, viajar y cantar en varios lugares del mundo son de las satisfacciones que ha logrado y que continuara manteniendo ofreciendo trabajos de calidad en los próximos años.

Johonny Gonzalez talks with Tim "Ripper" Owens, very remembered to fill the place left by Rob Halford in Judas Priest, same way with Matt Barlow from Iced Earth, or be the voice for Yngwie Malmsteen, after making experience in their beginning with bands like Brainicide and Winters Bane, currently is the lead singer of his own projects and others like Beyond Fear, Project Rock, Dio Disciples, his personal project and Charred Walls of the Damned, without leaving out the large number of colaborations as special guest with several bands worldwide.
In our interview with Ripper, who is touring several countries in Latin America, it says that is being presented with a very varied set list in electric and acoustic, celebrating the legacy in the bands where he has participated and enjoying the fans the presence of one of the most outstanding voices of the metal in recent years, and concludes that thanks to his participation in Judas Priest helped him learning to take well-deserved based on hard work, discipline and dedication.
In addition to their presentations he shares the good reception that has had the new album of Charred Walls of the Damned called Creatures Watching over the Dead via Metal Blade Records, and concludes he is proud of the final result of the third work with Charred.
After completing the commitments in this tour he´s prepare a full-time tour with his band and make his solo performances, and also the interesting point is their participation in a project called The Trilogy who Owens works with great vocalists like Blaze Bayley (ex Iron Maiden ) and the Queensryche´s mastermind Geoff Tate where interpreted several classics, and especially from the famous Operation Mindcrime in various live shows around the world, and where sometime in 2017 wh have a CD and DVD from these performances, and at the discretion of Owens, traveling and singing in various parts of the world are satisfactions that has managed to continue maintaining and providing quality jobs in the coming years.
