Schmier Pondremos al mundo Bajo Ataque! Exclusiva para Latinoamérica Interesante, con mucha música, historia y recuerdos! Así fue la entrevista que Conexión Rock Realiza dentro de su serie de Entrevistas Internacionales a una de las leyendas del Thrash Metal de Alemania y que en este año 2016 consolidan su historia con la grabación de un nuevo álbum.
En esta ocasión Johonny González entrevista Marcel Schirmer, mejor conocido como SCHMIER, fundador, bajista y voz de DESTRUCTION, y vienen de la mano con su nuevo trabajo discográfico llamado Under Attack (via Nuclear Blast Records), y que en breve iniciaran una gira mundial por varios países llevando su sonido a las masas, especialmente Centroamérica donde tendrán el privilegio de visitar por primera vez en esta gira países como Honduras, y que tendrán como banda de apertura a All For Blood.
En este programa hablamos de la evolución de la banda desde sus inicios en los 80´s y en especial cuando dieron sus primeros pasos con trabajos importantes como Infernal Overkill, o Eternal Devastation y que en este 2016 se celebran 30 años de su lanzamiento y se preparan para celebrarlo en esta presente gira. Además se siente honrado de ser parte de una importante generación dentro del Thash Metal Alemán con bandas como Sodom, Kreator y Tankard, y que para muchos se les cononce como El Big4 Teuton.
Retomando su actualidad con Under Attack nos comenta que este disco es considerado un trabajo personal para la banda, tras las constantes giras tuvieron el tiempo suficiente para hacer las composiciones y que viene con una variedad de temas interesantes e ideas refrescadas para ofrecer a sus fans un álbum del cual no se decepcionara.
Además nos comenta su total desacuerdo sobre la elección que ha hecho la banda AC/DC en tener como vocalista al ya conocido Axl Rose, misma reacción tiene la comunidad del metal en todo el mundo sobre esa decisión, y concuerda que existen vocalistas de mayor calidad para cubir el puesto que deja Brian Johnson en la banda debido a sus problemas de salud, pero al final de cuentas es una decisión y Schmier desea la mejor de las suertes en esta gira.

Interesting, with lots of music, history and memories! That was the interview that Conexion Rock performs in their International Interviews with one of the legends of German Thrash Metal and this 2016 strengthen its history with recording a new album.
This time Johonny González interview Marcel Schirmer, better known as SCHMIER, founder, bassist and voice of DESTRUCTION, and come with his new album called Under Attack (via Nuclear Blast Records), and will soon initiate a world tour by several countries bringing their sound to the masses, especially Central America where they will have the privilege of visiting for the first time these countries, specially for Honduras and they will as opening band like the thrashers of All for Blood.
In this program we discuss the evolution of the band since its inception in the 80 especially when they took their first steps with important jobs like Infernal Overkill, or Eternal Devastation and in this 2016 held 30 years after its launch and prepare to celebrate in this present tour. About of Under Attack tells us that this album is considered a personal work for the band after constant touring had enough time to make the compositions and comes with a variety of interesting songs and refreshed ideas to offer fans at which album will not be disappointed.
In addition tells us its total disagreement on the choice made by the AC / DC band to have vocals to the already known Axl Rose, same reaction has the metal community around the world on that decision, and agree that there vocalists higher quality for the fill the space since Brian Johnson leaves the band due to health problems, but in the end is a decision and Schmier wish the best of luck on this tour.
