En esta oportunidad conversamos con un personaje que para muchos muy querido, admirado y respetado por trayectoria en la música y que en este 2017 se prepara para la mayor de las fiestas y que literalmente nos iluminara a todos por un recorrido por su historia a través de las cuerdas de su Guitarra Celestial!
Johonny González, en compañía de Mauricio Zarruk entrevistan hasta Londres a Uli Jon Roth, quien nos recibe en la comodidad de su casa para compartir con nuestra audiencia la celebración especial que el realiza en este año con la gira especial del 40 Aniversario del lanzamiento del icónico álbum en directo de Scorpions: Tokyo Tapes. Salido en 1978 marca la llegada de la banda a Japón que fue grabado varias noches en el Sun-Plaza-Hall en Nakano, Tokyo. Y en esta oportunidad se repite el mismo escenario pero esta vez bajo el nombre de Tokyo Tapes Revisited- Live In Japan, y que es editado con el sello Silver Lining Music, donde la magia de este concierto nos abre a una máquina del tiempo donde nos presentan una riquísima selección de canciones de sus días en Scorpions.
Según Uli tras la excelente recepción que ha tenido años atrás Scorpions Revisited, decidió repetir la fórmula con este directo, y que al final fue una experiencia inolvidable que tanto la banda como el público en esa noche vivieron y que fue capturado para un CD y DVD.
También hablamos de algunas historias que el vivió en sus dias con la banda, los duros inicios en sus primeros días, el reconocimiento internacional, las giras y momentos duros como la censura de algunos albums, que terminaron en separarse de Scorpions para hacer su carrera como solista, dedicarse a tiempo completo a las enseñanzas de la guitarra en la Academia Sky y varias giras con su banda alrededor del mundo para celebrar un legado importante en su vida.
Ahora tras la grabación de Tokyo Tapes se prepara también para celebrar otra página en su vida como lo es su proyecto llamado Electric Sun, donde seleccionara un selecto repertorio de su discografía y preparara de igual manera una gira especial de aniversario de este material donde espera ver sus fans alrededor del mundo congregados disfrutando de sus clásicos y celebrar por lo alto este momento especial que él vive en su carrera como músico.

Johonny González, in the company of Mauricio Zarruk interviews to the great guitar player Uli Jon Roth in London, who welcomes us in the comfort of his home to share with our audience the special celebration he performs this year with the 40th Anniversary Special Tour of the iconical album from Scorpions: Tokyo Tapes live album. Released in 1978 marks the arrival of the band to Japan that was recorded several nights at the Sun-Plaza-Hall in Nakano, Tokyo. And this time the same scenario is repeated but this time under the name of Tokyo Tapes Revisited - Live In Japan, and that is edited with the Silver Lining Music label, where the magic of this concert opens us to a time machine where we present a rich selection of songs from his days in Scorpions.
According to Uli after the excellent reception that had years ago Scorpions Revisited, decided to repeat the formula with this direct, and that in the end was an unforgettable experience that both the band and the public that night lived and that was captured for a CD and DVD .
We also talked about some stories that he lived in his days with the band, the hard beginnings in his early days, international recognition, tours and hard times like the censorship of some albums, which ended up separating from Scorpions to make his career as a soloist, dedicate full time to the teachings of the guitar at the Sky Academy and several tours with his band around the world to celebrate an important legacy in his life.
Now after the recording of Tokyo Tapes is also preparing to celebrate another page in his life as is his project called Electric Sun, where he selected a select repertoire of his discography and prepared as well a special anniversary tour of this material where he hopes to see his fans around the world gathered around enjoying his classics and celebrating over this special moment that he lives in his career as a musician.
