Una Caminata Sónica En El Cielo Incondicionales Fans de Alterbridge... Esta entrevista es para ustedes! Conexión Rock Radio en sus entrevistas internacionales les ofrece la actualidad que esta banda originaria de Orlando, Florida tiene en la recta final de 2019 cuando lanzan su nuevo álbum llamado Walk In The Sky, su sexta producción en su ascendente carrera. En esta oportunidad conversamos con su Guitarrista y Voz Mark Tremonti, quien comparte detalles interesantes sobre el proceso de composición y producción de este álbum que ha estado a cargo del productor Michael Baskette, y que buscan superar las expectativas tras su muy bien aclamado trabajo de 2016 Last Action Hero. Alterbridge actualmente está conformado por Myles Kennedy- Guitarras y Vocales, Mark Tremonti- Guitarras y Vocales, Brian Marshall- Bajo, y Scott Phillips- Batería y Teclados. A continuación les ofrecemos a ustedes nuestra entrevista: Conexión Rock Radio: Mark, saludos desde Honduras, Centroamérica, es un honor poder conversar contigo y compartir con nuestra audiencia de las noticias que la banda tiene este año, ¡bienvenido! Mark Tremonti: Saludos a ti, que bien poder conversar con alguien de ese país para la promoción del nuevo álbum, gracias por tu interés! CR: Inicio esta entrevista felicitando a la banda por el lanzamiento de Walk The Sky a través de Napalm Records.
Esta nueva entrega se perfila como de las más esperadas en este año. ¿Qué expectativas tiene la banda en este nuevo capítulo de su historia? MT: Estamos muy emocionados de lanzar el disco, creemos que es una especie de nueva dirección para nosotros y creo que nuestros fans realmente disfrutan de todo lo que tenemos en este nuevo álbum. CR: Muchos consideran a Walk como el hermano mayor de Blackbird (2007) y AB III (2010), hasta el punto de que los fans ven en este nuevo álbum un clásico.
¿Cómo se ha sentido la banda en trabajar de nuevo con Michael Baskette como productor? MT: Trabajar con Michael es una grata experiencia, sabes que es nuestro hermano y conoce a la perfección nuestra música, Myles (Kennedy) se ha sentido muy a gusto en ello, sabe cómo obtiene nuestra visión, y nos encanta trabajar con el detrás de los controles, ya que ha brindado buenas ideas durante el proceso en el estudio. CR: Los singles que la banda ha lanzado recientemente tienen muchos sonidos electrónicos, algo que no es común en otros trabajos. ¿Fue esa idea después del concierto de Royal Albert Hall con la orquesta? ¿O tuviste esa idea antes del proceso de grabación? MT: Esto se decidió años atrás de manera experimental, durante el proceso de escritura para el nuevo disco que tropezó con algunas de las ondas de sintetizador Retro que pensé que eran realmente geniales y también lo disfruté, así que decidimos agregar ese nuevo sonido y lo que hacemos CR: La banda ha comentado que este álbum es como una banda sonora de una película de John Carpenter.
Muchos quieren saber si Walk es una influencia del trabajo de Carpenter, comentarios... MT: Seria difícil definirlo, pero estaría sujeta a cualquier interpretación. John es un veterano en ello y encontraras su trabajo las mejores bandas sonoras de sus películas y realmente todos en la banda lo disfrutamos. Así que todos somos fans de sus películas, todas son geniales, y desde nuestra perspectiva queríamos hacer lo mismo pero en sonido. CR: Existe alguna fórmula para que Alter Bridge haga trabajos de alta calidad en 15 años de existencia? MT: Definitivamente tratamos de mantenernos alejados de fórmulas habituales para evitar repetir algo del pasado y mantener fresco nuestro sonido, todo obedece a una evolución y mejorar en varios aspectos. CR: Para ti existe el mejor álbum subestimado de su carrera? Creemos que todos son buenos entre sí, que piensas de ello? MT: Todas nuestras creaciones tienen lo mejor de sí en cada álbum, todos son como nuestros hijos, ya que tienen un significado muy especial en nuestra vida como músicos y como banda. CR: Cuál es el mensaje que deseas enviar a quienes leyeron esta entrevista, y gracias por responder esta y varias preguntas para nuestra audiencia en Latinoamérica y otros continentes

Mark Tremonti: Greetings to you, good to talk with someone from that country to promote the new album, thanks for your interest! CR: Start this interview in congratulating the band for the release of their new album called Walk The Sky via Napalm Records.
This new deliver profile as the most anticipated in this year. What expectations have the band in this new chapter in their history? MT: We are very excited to release the album, we believe it is a kind of new direction for us, and I think our fans really enjoy everything we have in this new album. CR: Many consider Walk as Blackbird's older brother (2007) and AB III (2010), to the point that fans see this new album as a classic.
How the band felt about working again with Michael Baskette as producer? MT: Working with Michael is a pleasant experience, you know he´s our brother and he knows our music perfectly, Myles (Kennedy) has felt very comfortable in it, he knows how he gets our vision, and we love working with him behind the controls, since it has provided good ideas during the process in the studio. CR: The singles that the band has released recently have many electronic sounds, something that´s not common in other works. Was that idea after the Royal Albert Hall concert with the orchestra? Or did you have that idea before the recording process? MT: This was decided years ago experimentally, during the writing process for the new album that stumbled upon some of the Retro synthesizer waves that I thought were really cool and I also enjoyed it, so we decided to add that new sound and what do we do CR: The band has commented that this album is like a soundtrack from a John Carpenter movie.
Many want to know if Walk is an influence of Carpenter's work? Comments ... MT: It would be difficult to define it, but it would be subject to any interpretation. John is a veteran of it, you will find his work the best soundtracks of his films, and really, everyone in the band enjoyed it. So we are all fans of his films, all are great, and from our perspective we wanted to do the same but in sound. CR: Exist any formula that Alter Bridge make high quality works in 15 years of existence? MT: We definitely try to stay away from usual formulas to avoid repeating something of the past and keep our sound fresh, everything is due to an evolution and improve in several aspects. CR: For you there is their best and underrated album of your career? We think everyone is good with each other, what do you think of it? MT: All our creations have their best in each album; they are all like our children, since they have a very special meaning in our lives as musicians and as a band. CR: What is the message you want to send to those who read this interview, and thanks for answering this and several questions for our audience in Latin America and other continents
