Conexión Rock Radio en sus entrevistas internacionales tiene el privilegio de ofrecer en esta oportunidad a un invitado de lujo que es considerado como uno de los músicos más importantes e influénciales dentro del rock y del metal en todo el mundo, y que actualmente nos ofrece diferentes e interesantes facetas de su vida a través de sus proyectos. Nuestro contacto fue hasta West Bromwich, Birmingham, y es ahí donde conversamos con uno de los Fundadores de Judas Priest: K.K. Downing, quien nos ofrece detalles muy interesantes sobre el lanzamiento de su autobiografía llamada Heavy Duty: Days and Nights in Judas Priest, donde comparte con sus lectores de una interesante retrospectiva tanto personal como de sus días en la banda, desde 1974 cuando debuta con su primer álbum Rocka Rolla hasta 2009 que se retiraría del seno de la banda con la edición de A Touch Of Evil: Live, mismo que sería resultado de su álbum de 2008 Nostradamus. Downing en esta oportunidad contaría con la colaboración de Mark Eglinton, quien propuso este interesante proyecto, y que con el paso del tiempo tomaría forma a través de textos e imágenes que enriquecen este libro, y que sin duda alguna los fans de la banda verán en este documento un item obligado de colección. En la actualidad nuestro invitado dirige y administra una sala de conciertos en Birmingham llamada Steel Mill, donde se han presentado reconocidas bandas a nivel internacional, y a criterio de nuestro invitado este proyecto ha sido una satisfactoria experiencia en la cual los fans disfrutan por un lado de disfrutar shows en vivo, y por el otro conocer en persona a este interesante personaje. Tras varios años de retiro del mundo de la música para dedicarse a sus proyectos empresariales, recientemente reaparece como invitado especial con Ross The Boss, de igual manera con David Ellefson, Tim "Ripper" Owens, Les Binks y A.J. Mills, quienes ofrecieron un show haciendo un repaso de los grandes clásicos de Judas Priest dejando claro un mensaje que continuara haciendo música hasta donde la vida y las circunstancias lo permitan. En este programa especial conoceremos algunos detalles interesantes de su actualidad, como ser la negativa de participar en el 50 Aniversario de Judas Priest, y de cómo la música lo hizo retornar nuevamente a los escenarios cuando años atrás se enfrentó a una serie de problemas a nivel financiero que literalmente lo dejaría fuera del mapa.
